People message me about partner codes all the time. Always the same thing: do they give you free trades or discounted spreads?
No. AvaTrade has no commission on forex trades. You pay the spread. That's your trading cost. A partner code doesn't touch it.
Code 128979 unlocks the deposit bonus. Additional trading capital depending on your deposit. Simple as that.
How much bonus do you receive?
Put in $1,000, receive $200 bonus.
$2,000 adds $400.
$5,000 to $9,999 adds $1,000.
Maximum bonus is $14,000 for deposits above $100,000. That's for serious capital.
UK accounts start at £160 for £800 deposited. Top tier reaches £11,200.
You can open an account with $100. But you need $1,000 to qualify for bonus.
Finding the partner code field
During registration. Once you've filled in your phone number, look for small text that says "Have a Partner Code?" with an arrow next to it. Click it. A text box appears. Type **128979**.
Easy to miss since it's collapsed by default.
If you see an error, it's fine. Go ahead and register anyway. Reach out to your account manager first. Ask them to add AvaTrade Partner Code - 128979 code 128979. Standard practice for them.
The bonus has conditions
A trading volume condition applies.
Around 10,000 units per dollar of bonus. $200 bonus requires 2,000,000 units of trading volume. Takes a while if you trade small. Regular trading gets you there sooner than you'd expect.
Your deposit is yours. Withdraw it whenever you want. Only the bonus has the restriction.
One thing worth knowing: while the bonus is locked, it still counts toward your margin. This lets you take bigger positions. For someone still learning, that buffer can keep you in the game long enough to figure things out.
